K2PD

The Kuranda to Port Douglas is a point-to-point race incorporated in the Mowbray National Park within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. It starts just off Kennedy Highway in Kuranda and follows Black Mountain Road through native rainforest, open eucalyptus forest, pine plantations and over picturesque creeks. The finish is on the famous Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas. The tropical rainforest is home to the endangered southern cassowary, a flightless bird that can grow to two metres in height - you might see one!

Join us for the 60km K2PD SOLO and Team Relay foot race. Entries close at 11.59pm, Monday, 24 July 2023.

IMPORTANT: The Dynamic Running Ltd. Waiver/Participant Agreement has changed and include important changes to our 2023 events.

Note that there are NO REFUNDS for this event, Dynamic Running public liability insurance cover does not include travel and personal accident / personal injury insurance for competitors or volunteers. We recommend that you arrange your own personal accident / personal injury insurance to cover any unforeseen personal costs you may incur.

There is no cooling off period. By progressing with this registration and payment you accept the rules and conditions listed in the Dynamic Running Ltd. Waiver/Participant Agreement.

A medal is included in your entry fee.


There are two options on race day:
1) 60km SOLO
2) 60km Team (2 to 4 members per team)
(Distance is normally 64km, but as a section of the track is closed, we've had to divert!).

Important changes for returning competitors in the RELAY TEAM race:
1. All team members must register at the same time. Each of the four legs in the relay requires a team member - this may mean that one person will register more than once, if they are doing multiple legs.
