New Venue & Date for Storm The Lakes 2018

sent by Be Endurance on 17/08/2018 at 08:40
Dear athlete,

We wanted to inform you that we have taken the decision to move Storm The Lakes to a new venue. We did not feel that we would be able to deliver the kind of event that makes us proud at the original venue, and since we have started using Herts Young Mariners Base in Cheshunt, we have decided to move the event to this venue.
The new venue address is:
Herts Young Mariners Base
231 Windmill Road
Cheshunt
Hertfordshire
EN8 9AJ

This change of venue does unfortunately mean also a change of date and the event will now be on Sunday 16th September
The website and all information will be updated in the next 48hrs.

Refunds
If you are no longer able to join us on Sunday 16th September and would like a refund we will issue a full refund (except the booking fee 5%) no questions asked. We do apologise for this inconvenience. Please email us on [email protected] if you need to withdraw and would like a refund.

We do hope that you can all still join us and look forward to seeing you at Storm The Lakes.
Regards
Be Endurance

Hi Michael, as long as water temperatures are ok for wetsuits to be optional (which at this stage would seem very likely) then yes swimming skins is ok. However we would require that swimmers choosing to swim skins do wear a tow float for additional level of security. Thanks.

Hi Gail, the distances on the swimrun are approximately Swim = 3.5km and Run = 10km. Due to the change of venue we just need to double check our options for the run. This will be confirmed by the end of the week. We will aim to stick as close to the original distances as possible. Dermott
