A pool-based Sprint Triathlon situated on the edge of the beautiful New Forest National Park. The bike course heads out towards the historic village of Beaulieu, with the run course going out towards the village of Dibden Purlieu. A great event for novices and experienced Triathletes alike.

Refunds/Transfers/Instalments

Transfers

  • You may trade your entry for a Transfer Credit at a cost of £10.00 until 23/03/2019.
  • You will have 12 months (from the date of the event) to spend your Transfer Credit. You may also use your Transfer Credit to enter someone else.

Refunds

  • You may Refund yourself the entry cost less £10.00 until 02/03/2019.
  • Click here for more info on Refunds.

You can manage your entries in the section of your Racer Dashboard.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + £0.50 (inc VAT) for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.

We are host a live Q&A this friday - 22/3/19 at 8pm on Facebook. This is a great opportunity to hear the race brief, as any questions about the event and question our coaches about training or any race day nerves we can try to settle. 

If you cant make it live, then pop a question in the event here and we will answer. 


Final wave times with start times will be emailed before 3rd April. Please log onto your race space account to ensure your details are correct and you have the correct estimated swim time.

We have two opportunities to find out more about the event and triathlons in general.

The first is the Facebook Live event we are hosting on March 22nd - https://www.facebook.com/events/1337297409744080/

Our Mission Fast Twitch Coaches, our race director Kelly, will try to answer any event or training questions.

We are also co-hosting the Triathlon Festival (https://www.triathlonfestival.co.uk/events/the-triathlon-festival-2019/).    This is an amazing opportunity to meet the CE Team, have a bike fit, swimtest (yes swim) a new wetsuit and listen to some amazing speakers that we have lined up for you.

There are still places available online  for £8 (just a few so get in quick before the price goes up).  If you miss out on the cheaper prices, turn up on Saturday with a copy of your SFFT confirmation and get you (and everyone in your party) get in for £10.

FIVE DAYS TO GO - MISSION FAST TWITCH

There’s a secret not everyone wants you to know about.

Training doesn’t actually make you fitter or stronger…

The cat is well and truly out of the bag, but before you rip up your training plan and throw your trainers in the bin, hang fire and let me explain.

That swim, bike ride or run is just the stimulus. You complete the session, feel great at having ticked it off but are clearly a bit fatigued as a result.

The instant result is:
Training = Fatigue.

The more you train, the more fatigue you are going to build up, making you more and more tired.

Proof then, that training isn’t what makes you fitter.

How then, do you weird the results from your hard efforts.

This is where rest and recovery come in.

As part of Mission Fast Twitch, we will be utilising recovery as one of our prime markers for every participant to ensure that they are training like Goldilock’s favourite porridge.
