HYDE ‘7’
To bring the Tour of Tameside to a finale, Stage 4 of the Tour of Tameside starts and finishes outside of the historic Hyde Town Hall on Market Street. The journey will take runners on a 7 mile running route through Hyde town centre and the surrounding area, with a various ups and downs to keep you on track along the way.
When heading towards the finish line, you will be greeted by lots of supports, young and old, celebrating a great achievement and the very finish of the 2016 Tour of Tameside.
Race Route
Starting outside the Hyde Town Hall this 7 mile road race goes straight up Market Street before turning left onto Stockport Road. You will go past the Ken Ward Leisure Centre in Hattersley and left onto Mottram Road. Then onto Grange Road near Hyde F.C and past Hyde Leisure Pool, before turning back onto Market Street surrounded by the applause of those watching on the home straight.
