DETAILS:

The Fugitive Triathlon 2018 Half Iron Distance in Marlow. This event is the only long distance in the Thames Valley which will see record numbers of participants race against the clock.

Are you a Fugitive? The Fugitive Half Iron Distance gives you the chance to make a run for it and escape, racing only against the clock to see if you will get caught before its too late.

With only the fastest over the line, before the cut off, only becoming free to runaway with a bespoke finishers medal and the honour of escaping captivity.

The event is set to attract over 700 participants, as the world of endurance sports and triathlon creates massive demand for longer distance events over the shorter distances that have originally formed this great sport.

The swim is a 1900 metre one lap course in the River Thames and is designed to make even the weakest swimmer get a fast swim split.

The Bike course is 85.6km with a very popular 3 Lap course on the far end of the route.

The Run is 4 laps of 5km route on Tarmac and Grass Footpaths and meanders back towards Marlow and into the finish at Higginson Park from the river tow path.
