Windsor Autumn - Half Marathon
If you want to get a personal best Half Marathon this should be the one - it is the flattest course in the UK!!!
The race takes place on very flat, smooth tarmac roads and paths - completely traffic free, comprising of 4.5 loops of scenic Dorney Lake. Chip timing will be in operation for accurate splits and finish times.
The minimum age to take part in this event is 17 years old on the day of the event. We also ask that no dogs or prams are taken on the course or event for the health and safety of all participants.
Arrival from 11:30am - Please do not arrive before this time.
All distances will start together @ 12:30pm
This event at Dorney Lake is fully licensed and certified by UK Athletics to provide 100% accurately measured courses. This means that any time you achieve on these courses can be used for any future event or championship that might require a qualification time.
UK Athletic Certificate Course No. - 16/054
The event location is one of the most iconic 2012 London Olympic Games venues, which hosted the rowing and canoe disciplines.
Dorney Lake, Eton College Rowing Centre is conveniently located along the M4 Motorway, only 20 mins from London and 15 mins from the M25 and M40 motorways.
The event will have full car parking facilities available, which will be in operation to allow participants to come and go, whilst the event is still taking place and makes it perfect for spectators and family to attend and soak up the atmosphere.
PRIZES:There will prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall Male and Female, 1st Vet (40+) Male and Female.
Bespoke Medals for ALL finishers.
