Windsor & Eton Autumn Classic - Half Marathon

PROVISIONAL START TIMES:

All runners will start together @ 08:30am

DETAILS:

If you want to get a personal best Half Marathon this should be the one - it is the flattest course in the UK!!! The race takes place on very flat, smooth tarmac roads and paths - completely traffic free, comprising of 4.5 loops of scenic Dorney Lake. Chip timing will be in operation for accurate splits and finish times. UK Athletic Certificate Course No. - 16/054

This event at Dorney Lake is fully licensed and certified by UK Athletics to provide 100% accurately measured courses. This means that any time you achieve on these courses can be used for any future event or championship that might require a qualification time.

The minimum age to take part in this event is 17 years old on the day of the event. We also ask that no dogs or prams are taken on the course or event for the health and safety of all participants.

RACE LOCATION INFORMATION:

The event location is one of the most iconic 2012 London Olympic Games venues, which hosted the rowing and canoe disciplines.

Dorney Lake, Eton College Rowing Centre is conveniently located along the M4 Motorway, only 20 mins from London and 15 mins from the M25 and M40 motorways.

The event will have full car parking facilities available, which will be in operation to allow participants to come and go, whilst the event is still taking place and makes it perfect for spectators and family to attend and soak up the atmosphere. Food and drinks will also be available through our catering facilities, plus fun and games for kids of all ages!!!

PRIZES:

There will prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall male and female, 1st Junior male and female, 1st Vet male and female.

Bespoke Medals for ALL finishers.

Time Change Reminder

This is just a reminder that there is no 12.30pm start time for this event. We have sent out emails and put updates online but to confirm that this is 8.30am start only.


We have had a meeting with Dorney lake who have informed us that we need to change the time of this event, Everyone will be starting this event at 8.30am and will be starting from the club end of Dorney Lake not the other end. So there will be no 12.30pm start, we apologise for any inconvenience caused but this is something beyond our control.
