Royal Windsor Half Marathon River Trail Run
The Royal Windsor 10km River Trail Run creates the perfect opportunity to experience the historically picturesque Thames Valley. With an idyllic start and finish at the foot of Windsor Castle, a royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the entirely flat course guides you along the River following the scenic trails with some fantastic views of the surrounding areas.
Run along river trail paths, the course incorporates many of the key landmarks that have made Royal Berkshire and its surrounding area so famous. It is an absolute must for anyone looking for a break from the pavement grind and a change of scenery.
The event is not designed to be a gruelling cross country through deep mud and puddles, but aims to be a fun, friendly and fast trail run along one of England's most historic courses. We hope that our onsite facilities, commentary and music provide plenty to keep other halves and little ones entertained, ensuring a day out for all the family while you run. There is a minimum participant age of 16 for this event. For participant health and safety, we also ask that there are no prams or dogs taken out on the course.
PRIZES:There will prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall male and female, 1st Junior male and female, 1st Vet male and female.
Bespoke Medals for ALL finishers.
