Dunoon Half Marathon and 10K

A classic, fast and flat half marathon course along the beautiful coastal road & 10K along the same stunning route!


This race has a Scottish Athletics Permit.

Runners affiliated to UKA will receive a £2 refund on their entries. Club numbers will be cross-checked on the day.

These will be available for pick up on Friday evening from 1800-1930hrs and then Saturday morning from 0830hrs on Dunoon Pier also.

Good afternoon all : a few important pieces of information below :,

1. Registration and number pick up from 0830hrs OR for those of you staying overnight you have the option of picking up your number between 1800 and 1930hrs on the Friday evening the 4th August on Dunoon Pier
2. Please note for those of you running the half marathon there are 2 traffic convoys for your safety on the route and these must be observed to stay within the race rules.
3. Watch out for the concrete bollards just after the start of both races - they will be clearly marked with large feather flags for you to run between.
4.The 10k turning point will also be clearly marked and marshaled.

Thanks - I was asking because a friend of mine doesn't know when he will get off night shift and isn't sure if he'll make the start.

Unfortunately there are no on the day entries. Entries will close at midnight on Thursday 3rd August. There is no defined cut off time as we want you all to have a fabulous day and not be pressured by that - so go at your own pace (within reason!!!)
