The Night Howler (Trail Marathon & HM)

The Night Howler is our brand new exciting trail race taking you on a hilly journey across the west pennines.


The route is just over 13 miles with a second lap in reverse for marathon runners, starting and ending at the Royal Arms Pub where the bar will be open and hot food served at the finish line!
the route will be marked with reflective flags.

The Marathon event starts at 5.30pm with a midnight cutoff.
The Half Marathon event at 6.00pm with a 9.30pm
Half Marathon runners cut off - 3.30hrs.
Marathon 1st lap cut off - 3hrs

COMPULSORY KIT LIST - For both categories
Race pack to carry 1L water
Race wear to suit the weather
Suitable fell or trail trainers
Base layer/warm kit
waterproof jacket with hood.
hat and gloves
head torch
map + compass OR GPX - GPX given on request.
whistle
emergency food
fully charged mobile phone
medication (if required)

Refunds/Transfers/Instalments

Unfortunately we do not offer refunds however, runners can transfer their place to another runner by 1 Dec 19. 

Transfers

  • You may trade your entry for a Transfer Credit at a cost of £5.00 until 01/12/2019.
  • You will have 12 months (from the date of the event) to spend your Transfer Credit. You may also use your Transfer Credit to enter someone else.
