Tour of the Highlands 2023

Without doubt the best 3 days you can have on a bike in the UK. Join many of Scotland’s most experienced club riders on an epic circumnavigation of the UK’s biggest mountains.

Tour of the Higlands covers 8 of the UK's 10 highest roads, including the highest at Glenshee, through some of the UK’s most remote countryside, ascending twelve categorised climbs (4 of which have gradients of 20%) – and finishes by climbing the UK's 4th highest road to Cairngorm Ski Centre in the heart of the UK’s only Arctic plateau.

Whats Included?

· A timing chip to be placed on the left hand side of your helmet

· Rider number for back

· Seat post number

· Duplicate seat post number to use like airport luggage tag on your bag

· Well stocked feed stations and hot food at the finish line each day

You organise your own accommodation, we give you the best food stops and aid stations of any UK sportive; big sound systems; a northern soul party atmosphere; mechanics; broom wagons and medics.

Pitlochry and Aviemore are two of the biggest tourist town in the Highlands so you have plenty of options for all budgets; from wild camping to 5 star luxury.

With a downhill start, day 1 of the Tour of the Highlands takes you through stunning scenery. The second day takes in the classic 3 Pistes Sportive and Day 3 will be the fastest century ride you will ever do.

Day 2 (Classic 3 Pistes Cycle Sportive ) Start: The Dome Play Area, West Moulin rd, Pitlochry. PH16 5FD

*Day 2 Classic 3 Pistes Cycle Sportive can also be done as an individual event.

Day 3 Start: Aviemore

*Each day will consist of self-assigned waves, 3 minutes apart

Refunds, Credits

Refunds

Entries are only transferable/deferable through Race Space until 30/4/2022. Photo ID and helmet are required at registration.

Should we have to cancel or postpone the event you will have the choice of deferring to 2023 or a full refund (minus the Race Space fee).

If you are required to isolate due to Covid or are unable to attend due to government restrictions we will also offer you a deferral or refund upon evidence of positive test or isolation letter.

Please note that tickets are otherwise non-refundable.


Refunds

  • You may Refund yourself the entry cost less £0.00 until 14 days after you purchase.

Credits

  • You may exchange your entry for a Credit at a cost of 5% of your ticket price until 27/03/2023.
  • You may exchange your entry for a Credit at a cost of 20% of your ticket price until 27/04/2023.
  • You may exchange your entry for a Credit at a cost of 50% of your ticket price until 20/05/2023.
  • You will have 12 months (from the date of the event) to spend your credit. You may also use your credit to enter someone else.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + £0.50 (inc VAT) for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.

Thank you all for your patience. I've been trying to get everything together in one email so as not to end up spamming you all ... inevitably that has led to a bit of a delay. Sorry!
