Sun City Sprint Tri - 13th August 2023

Open water sprint triathlon, has the excitement of a beach start, run in the water and swim the simple course with RNLI water safety provided – wetsuits will be required.

750 metre sea swim, bike a fast and fantastic 20km 4 lap course, ending with a picturesque 5k run through the parks, promenades and parades of Seaburn & Roker.

Races start at 7:30am prompt with a mass start.

Being on the recently developed seafront there are loads of fantastic vantage points to see your friends or family race, with seats for spectators. There’s always a local crowd and as first time spectator this is the race to watch.

Apart from the above, you will get access to the Grand Hotel Sunderland which will have some refreshments, a meet 'n' greet hall with room for all to chat away those nerves. It also has ample toilet facilities.
