Dartmouth Triathlon

The Dartmouth Triathlon returns for the 8th Year. You start with a stunning swim in the clear waters of Blackpool Sands. Then it’s onto the bike for the stunning out and back ride via Slapton, which features Devon’s flattest road. You finish with an out & back run up the picturesque Blackpool Valley Road (used in our first ever running of the event in 2014) following a stream gently rising up to the turn. By creating a second ‘bike drop’ transition on the other side of the A379 we are able to eliminate the road crossing from the race.

New for 2022 is our Standard Triathlon option which is two laps of the swim course, two laps of the bike course & two laps of the run course.

Numbers are strictly limited to 150 for the Standard & 150 for the Sprint so early registration is advised!

We also have our increasingly popular750m & 1500m sea swims on Saturday evening. And there’s the chance to camp on the beach for a small additional charge

Kit Requirements
This swim normally requires a wetsuit as the water temperature is likely to be below 14C. See our FAQs

  • The Registration Fee is NON REFUNDABLE under any circumstance.
  • Entry Fees are only valid for the original event for which they were purchased. Neither Places or Fees are transferrable to any other event.

Requests for refunds must be received in writing no later than 30 days from the date of official event cancellation by the organisers.
  • Refund Applicants will be reimbursed with that part of their entry fee which are recoverable or have not been irrevocably committed to staging the event.
  • Extreme or unusual weather conditions are unlikely to lead to the cancellation of the event. Entrants must exercise their own experience and judgement regarding their ability, equipment and preparedness to cope with the prevailing elements before they commence.
