Run Girl Run 5K & 10K
During the 90's Lancaster held an annual 10km event just for women and women from all over the UK came and took part.
Due to traffic & venue problems this race sadly ceased to exist but the Lancaster Race Series brought it back in 2015! The first running of Run Girl Run saw 70 runners and in 2016 we'll hopefully see a few more!
A 99% traffic free route this race purely for women looks to encourage first time runners, pb hunters and groups of ladies who have a goal of completing a 5km & 10km.
The race itself will be from the Lancaster & Morecambe AC Clubhouse located at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, Lancaster.
We are proud to confirm that a donation from the race will go to a number of charities including:
Special Care Baby Unit
Cancer Research UK
St. Johns Hospice
We are also more than happy for you to collect sponsorship for your chosen charity.
We cant wait to see you all in September, so get your running shoes on!
