Windermere Triathlon 2021

This Triathlon event in the magnificent Lake District, Windermere which includes the excitement of racing around the beauty of Lake Windermere on a one lap bike course, with transition at the swimming pool at Washington Leisure Centre. The run takes you on a multiple lopped course, with a number of laps around Princess Cockshott Point.

CoViD 19 Update

Dear Athlete,

I hope this email finds you well and safe.

As yet we, like all other events organisers are continually monitoring updates from the Government and the BTF, and as yet there is still specific clarity other than training can commence following social distancing guidance.
To this end we are still unable to confirm events being delivered in the Summer period for 2020 and therefore have set the dates for next years events:

Windermere Sprint Triathlon 3rd July 2021
Windermere Triathlon 4th July 2021
Washington Triathlon 11th July 2021
Washington Duathlon 11th July 2021.

These events have been directly affected by CoViD 19 in 2020.

All out current stakeholders will be honouring their commitments for 2021 that should have supported the events in 2020 which we are pleased that they are going to do so.

All entries will be deferred and honoured for 2021 and will be offered a further reduced entry for 2022 which we will send out in due course.

Thank you for your patients and support during this difficult time and wish you every success in your preparation and training for 2021.
