The Malvern Multicolour Fun Run

Dress up in a white T-shirt and some old sunglasses (or use the complimentary ones we give you) to take part in this fun colour run or walk around the ELIM estate in West Malvern.

You can sign up for 1, 2, 3 or 4 laps of the 2.5 km (1.55 miles) circuit allowing runners to do a 5k or 10k, which will take you through key parts of the estate where you will be covered in various brightly coloured biodegradable powder paints.

There will be the opportunity to take part in 2 starts, one in the morning and one in the afternoon and there will be catering on-site, fun stands for children and a Star Wars theme for 2019, so a great day can be made of it.

The challenge is open to everyone of all ages from 5 years upwards and you can run, jog or walk or do a mixture of all three. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Be aware though that the powdered paints will get everywhere and make sure your children are happy taking part, they will need to wear sunglasses as well.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow : )

Hi -

We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow for the 4th Malvern Multicolour Fun Run 2019!

A couple of quick points that we would appreciate some support with to ensure the day goes well:
  • Parking - please do not block anyone's driveway or access, do not park on the pavement so that pedestrians can not us it, do not park in any areas with yellow lines. Unfortunately another local event last weekend caused a lot of problems, so there is quite a bit of ill feeling towards local events at the moment. The ELIM parking marshals will direct you to spaces in their car parks, but after these are full you will have to find your own spaces locally.
  • Sunglasses - if you have your own and are happy to use them then that will reduce the amount of waste the event creates. We do have sunglasses for you all, but we are trying to reduce the impact the event has surrounding plastic and waste and have been using paper cups as an example since last year.
  • Throwing paint at runners and each other - obviously we want you to have as much fun as possible, but if you could refrain from throwing it in the marked areas and keep it to the start/finish line and the paint stations around the course that would be excellent. the paint works best when thrown into the air as it disperses as a cloud, please don't throw it directly into people's faces as there are small children around.
  • Registration - this can get very busy when a lot of people arrive at once. Please have patience with the staff working to help you as it can be difficult to work out the confusion surrounding some entries, especially with the new registration system that has been used this year.
That's it for now, thanks very much for supporting this local event.

See you tomorrow in the sunshine we hope : )

All the best,
The Malvern Multicolour Fun Run team
