The Return (A 12 and 24 hour Ultra)

Whether you take on 12 or 24 hours, your journey will begin in Holme Chapel, Lancashire. Once you decide if you are heading North or South, you will be provided with the GPX of that route. Both routes predominately follow the Pennine Bridleway (PBW), although there are sections that leave the PBW as link routes back to the PBW.

Both North and South Routes will have Checkpoints to refill water and snacks.

The 24 hour CP locations Northbound are approx 21km, 43km and 72km distances and Southbound ar 33km, 54km and 77km respectively. Sleep is your call, whether you have a support team and bunk in a car for an hour, you carry a small tent and rough it or recce and find a place to stop for a bit when you are planning your race… The choice is yours.

You will be issued a GPS live tracker so we know where you are at all times and your friends and family can watch your progress in real time.

There will be circumference rings at respective distances. If your tracker pings a ring, your ribbon colour will change on finish
