Tri-Adventure Off Road Adventure Race (5 different events)

The nature of our events is that anyone of any age and fitness can take part, from the very beginner to the ultra racer. You plan and run your own race, although there are prizes for the ones who collect the most points in each category. You plan your own strategy and route, deciding how many CPs you want to visit and in what order. You will lose 1 point for each 30s you are late coming back. All checkpoints are worth 10 points each. Distance covered depends on how many checkpoints are visited, and depends entirely on your level of fitness, as well as your map reading/bike handling skills.

Registration opens at 8.30am to give competitors time to collect their waterproof maps and to plan their strategy and routes. Free car parking, changing facilities, toilets, refreshments.

Starting on foot, there will be one transition to Mountain Bikes. Distance covered is anything between 15 and 30+km. Minimum age to take part is 8 accompanied or 16 unaccompanied.

1 hour Mini Trail Run – £10, £15 OTD – Trail Run only, using a 1:25k waterproof map, plan your route and navigate to as many of the 10 clip style checkpoints as possible in 1 hour. This event is ideal for families with children up to the age of 16, and for those who want to improve their navigation and/or trail running skills. The CPs are located much closer to one another than in the other events. Unlike the other events, this is not a race, so there are no prizes for those collecting the most CPs.

• Notification dated less than 4 weeks (29 days) before event – no credit

Due to the nature of sports events, we are unable to make exceptions for injuries or pregnancy.

Event entries are NOT transferable to any other person without prior notification to Tri-Adventure
