Whiteley Village Races - Charity Event

After a very successful 2017 event, which saw record funds being raised for the villagers during their 100 year celebrations, 2018 sees the return of the Whiteley Village Races. Set in the beautiful and tranquil 230 acre grounds of the Whiteley Village in Surrey. The Whiteley Village Races offer events for all the family.

Why not come along, take part, have loads of fun and, in the process, help us to beat last year’s donation?

Each participant will receive a medal, and there are prizes for the winners.

On offer are the following:

· 10km Off-Road Running event with chip timing - 2 laps of a signed course

· 5km Off-Road Running event with chip timing - 1 lap of a signed course

· 2.5km Youth Run - An event for the Juniors, although the competition is just as fierce as among the adults!

· 1km Junior Fun Run - A blast round the tarmac surfaced, closed, roads in the Village.

· 5km Alms Obstacle Challenge - Off road circuit, comprising 7 or 8 Obstacles. This is a very popular event, with many teams taking part, often in fancy dress.

· Junior Scoot/Bike/Run (350m/250m/350m) - This is one for the youngsters, and many are often accompanied by their parents, as they cover 350 metres in each of the three disciplines.

· 5km Walk - A leisurely walk for friends and families around the beautiful grounds.
