Battlefield Duathlon

Set in the heart of Northamptonshire, the Battlefield Run starts and ends in Naseby, home of the famous Battle of Naseby where, in 1645 Oliver Cromwell defeated Charles I in the key battle of the English Civil War.

A duathlon is a multi-discipline sport similar to triathlon whereby the swim section of the event is replaced by a run, taking the format Run 1/Bike/Run 2. Duathletes can opt for a gruelling long distance, standard or sprint distance event taking advantage of the rolling Northamptonshire countryside and quiet country roads.
