Holdenby Duathlon and XC Run

A great end to the season with a duathlon and XC run at the stunning Holdenby Estate

Suitable both for novices and experienced athletes, this late season standard and sprint distance duathlon, including seperate 5k and 10k cross country run, operates from Holdenby House with the traffic free run confined to the surrounding Holdenby Estate and bike route through beautiful Northamptonshire villages.

Built in 1583 by Sir Christopher Hatton, Holdenby House was one of the largest palaces of the Tudor period and was prison to King Charles I during the English Civil War. The House is now a private residence and we are pleased to be hosting a duathlon event from this magnificent Estate.

The Routes

Competitors who enjoy running and cycling through beautiful settings will enjoy the traffic free cross country run around the Holdenby Estate with the cycle around the quiet roads between the Northamptonshire villages of East and West Haddon, Rothersthorpe and Guilsborough.
