Bredon's Hardwick Sprint Triathlon

2019 is the ninth running of the Bredon's Hardwick Sprint Triathlon. Due to the success of last year's event, this year the race will again take place on a Saturday so competitors have the option of making it a weekend event. The tri starts with a 750m lake swim, followed by a flat and fast 24km ride along quiet rural roads and a multi-lap 5km run around the lake cheered on by spectators and the friendly Tewkesbury Tri Club marshalling team.

It's an ideal race for first timers to open water, as well as seasoned athletes wanting to test their training.

​There's plenty of space for friends and family to watch, free on-site parking and camping in a beautiful part of Gloucestershire countryside. As with last year, there will be a BBQ and party atmosphere to welcome you back at the end of the race.

Please note, unfortunately we are not able to accept juniors (under 18) to race at this event.

TTC - Race Day Guide

Hi Triathletes

With just a few days to go until our event on Saturday, please find attached our race day guide.

The water temperature was 19 degrees on Monday, so at the moment it is wetsuit optional.  Looking at the weather, we don't think this will change, but will let you know at registration if it is any different.

So some clarifications for you guys;

1. Carpark marshals will point you into some spaces, please park economically as space will be tight
2. Registration and transition  will be open at 7.00am
3. Registration will close at 8.30am, 
4. Hats, number, and chip timer will be issued at registration. we will only be giving 1 number so please bring a race belt.  Relay teams will get 2 numbers.
5. 8.40am-  Race briefing by registration
6. 9.00am - race starts - 4 waves setting off 10 mins apart
7. 11.30am (approx) - Prize giving
