TTC Spring Sprint Triathlon

2019 is the 3rd running of the new Tewkesbury Spring Sprint Triathlon in partnership with Places for People @ Tewkesbury Leisure Centre!

The event has been going for over 25 years, and is going from strength to strength: a new pool, scenic bike route and multi-terrain run course.

It's an ideal race for both first timers and seasoned athletes looking to get their season off to a flying start.

The race begins with a 400m swim in the 25m pool at Tewkesbury Leisure Centre, followed by a fast, flat 24km circular bike route around country roads and finishing with a run alongside the historic site of the Battle of Tewkesbury and the River Severn.

​There's plenty of space for friends and family to watch and free on-site parking.

Please note, unfortunately we are not able to accept juniors (under 18) to race at this event.

Hi everyone

Morning Racers!

Just one day to go before Tewkesbury's Spring Sprint.

Quick reminder

Starts times will be given when you register. first swimmer will go at 8.00am, slower swimmers first, going at 30 second intervals. The swim will be finished by 9.00am

6.30am  Registration opens - in the leisure centre reception
6.40am Transition opens
7.40am Race briefing
7.55am Transition closes
8.00am Race starts
10.30'ish Prize giving

Parking for the race will be in the field beside the leisure centre, there will be loads of marshals showing you the way.

The weather has been wet in the last couple of days so the run route may be a bit boggy, probably worth puting your trail's in just in case.  We will be walking the course this afternoon.

Finally, if you have registered as a BTF member and claimed the fiver discount, you will need to show your BTF card at registration.
