Essex Cross Country 10K Series May

This is race 1 of 5 in the Essex Cross Country 10K Series 2019, taking place on the second Saturday of each month from May 2019 to September 2019. Whilst we welcome runners who only wish to participate in a single race, please note that discounted series entry is available (prior to the first race in the series only).

Age Requirements: Participants must be aged 15 or over on the day of the race.

Registration: From 08:30 to 09:30.

Race Numbers: For collection at registration on the day only, numbers will not be posted. To be fastened to the front of your top using safety pins provided at registration, your number should be visible at all times. Your timing chip is attached to the back of your number and should not be removed.

Timing: Chip-timed, with a new race number/chip for each race in the series.

Route: The course consists of 2 laps on a mixture of gravel pathway, forest ground and grass fields with sections of exposed tree roots and low hanging branches, and is suitable for runners of all abilities. Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.

Spectators: Spectators can watch from anywhere on the course and will see runners pass twice wherever they are situated.

Licensing: This race will not be licensed with UK Athletics.

Pacers: Pacers will not be offered at this race.
