Ultra Kirklees Way

None stop, self sufficient, ultra marathon with 118 km - 73 miles with well over 4000 ft of accent

The clockwise route visits the upper Colne Valley, Spen Valley and Holme Valley and passes Dewsbury, Holmfirth and Marsden. Highlights on the route include a series of picturesque reservoirs including Holme Styes, Ramsden, Digley and Bilberry Reservoirs.

Most of the route is way marked but you will require basic navigation skills (some of this, you will be doing at night... we will NOT assist! The required maps and route descriptions are available for down load. (we did complete the whole recce without maps, but we also know the area!)

The UKW really brings something new and fresh to the running. The route showcases some of the areas hidden treasures

we do not offer a refund for any event entry, at the moment when you enter a Team OA event, we incur costs for processing your registration, 4 weeks before an event all; medals, t-shirts and food etc are ordered these are paid fro from your race entry. Where a charity is involved there may have also been a donation made on your behalf. Inline with all other UK based race organisations from January 25, 2014 we will no longer offer any refund. Race Place transfer If you wish to transfer your race place to another participant this must be done in writing to; events@teamoa.co.uk there is a £5.00 administration fee for this service. You can visit the entry system you used to make any other alterations to your own entry details at any time up to 48 hours before scheduled race start time.
