Ridgeway 200

One epic weekend. One great cause. 200km of historic roadway.

Challenge yourself to a tough but rewarding weekend in the saddle.

Join OTEC Bikes as we tackle a 200kms over a weekend. 100km of the Ridgeway to Swindon and then 100kms back the next day. New for 2019, it’s ideal for cyclists who love endurance riding. Even better, choose to pay for your place or pick a charity place to raise funds for Sustain for Life.

When: 5 – 6 October 2019

Distance: 200km off-road

Where: Starting at the John Colet School, Wendover at 9am, followed by an overnight at the Ridgeway School, Swindon, before finishing on day two back at the John Colet School.

Overnight accommodation: Shared accommodation at the Ridgeway School’s sports hall is included, with showers available. Or, choose to book a local hotel (we'd recommend the Swindon Alexandra House - https://www.swindonalexandrahouse.co.uk/) – we’ll shuttle you there and back, and you can leave your bike securely at the school. Throughout, we’ll shuttle your bags to the finishing points.

Food: Evening meal and breakfast included.

Support: You’ll find four aid stations each day, plus full technical support en route.

It’s all about the experience. We’ll take care of everything so you can focus on enjoying the ride.

What's included:

  • Two-day fully supported ride
  • Top bike mechanics from Otec Bikes on hand
  • Overnight shared accommodation (or free shuttles to and from a local hotel)
  • Evening food and breakfast
  • Evening entertainment: a bar, films and music
  • Individual chip timers
  • Event t-shirt, supported by Aussie Grit
  • Comprehensive GPX files
  • Paramedics and experienced event crew
  • Participation medal.

All finishers will be entered into three prize draws - stay tuned for more about what you could win.

…AND there's a prize for the highest fundraiser.

Choose to enter the full event (two days, fully supported, with overnight accommodation or free shuttles to and from a local hotel), or just day one as a single day.

You can also choose to ride for Sustain for Life, our chosen charity partner. They provide assistance, training and education to some of the poorest and most underdeveloped communities in the world, to help them become economically and sustainably self-sufficient. Find out more at https://www.sustainforlife.org

If you get a charity place, we'll send you information about setting up your fundraising page.

We can't wait to see you there!
